The “Night of Little Venice” event takes place every July on the waterfront promenade in Vranjic, a place that, thanks to its location, tradition and unique Mediterranean atmosphere, is often referred to as “Little Venice”.
Organized by the Solin Tourist Board in cooperation with the Vranjic Local Committee, this distinctive summer event brings together numerous visitors, tourists and local residents, offering a combination of music, gastronomy and cultural heritage.
The programme includes concerts of Italian canzoni, performances by guest artists, a rich gastronomic offer inspired by Italian cuisine, and romantic boat rides. Visitors can also enjoy a free guided tour of Vranjic in Croatian and English, discovering the history and landmarks of this picturesque place.
The aim of the event is to enrich the summer tourism offer of the City of Solin, particularly in Vranjic, while introducing visitors to its cultural heritage and Mediterranean way of life.
The idea for “Night of Little Venice” originated in 2012 as part of the workshop “Tourism in My Town”, where it was created by pupils of Don Lovre Katić Primary School and later awarded by the Solin Tourist Board.
Admission to the event is free of charge.
